Psalm 43

1 Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

2 For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.

4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.

Have you ever felt like the whole world was against you, and you just can’t seem to catch a break?  You don’t know where to go or what to do next?  You can’t seem to figure out why God hasn’t swooped in and fixed everything like He so easily could.  Let this psalm remind you, God is, and will continue to be your strength, He has a plan, and if you let Him, and watch for what He is doing, He will lead you to your blessing and your expected end.  So, ask yourself the closing question from, not just this, but also the previous psalm, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him”.  Put your hope in God and know that He will lead you through, He will vindicate you, he will deliver you, so start praising Him now for what He is doing that you don’t see, then you will be all warmed up to praise Him when you see the finished miracle. Amen.
